We celebrated Halloween this year with a spooky boy, a cheerless leader and a grumpy Eeyore. Keaton chose to be the costume from the movie "Scream" although he has never seen that movie (yikes!) and loved the blood that he could pump through the mask with just a squeeze. Chloe found this cheerleader costume on the internet one night and wouldn't rest until we found her one. We got lucky and found the last size 7/8 in Belleville and she loved her costume so much. Meg was true to Eeyore character and just wasn't a happy camper. We had to get her fed and in costume quickly after she woke up from her afternoon nap and she just didn't think much of the rush. She cried whenever I'd set her down to take her photo and so I gave up trying to get a magical shot of her. Regardless, she sure was cute in her costume. Keaton wore the same costume many, many years back and it brought back memories too.
We headed to Foxboro to trick or treat with Kerri's family and Melissa's family and then headed home for a quick stop at some families homes on our road... Poppa Emerson's was our last stop of the night. It was a freezing cold October night and I couldn't wait to get home and warm up. The kids gobbled down way too much candy and then fell into bed = sugar-induced comas! Happy Halloween!
